Office Manager

I graduated from UMass-Amherst with a degree in Turf Grass Management. Following graduation, I worked for private golf courses on Long Island and in Connecticut. Once Dr. Caruso and I relocated back to Maine, I took over management of the offices.

Registered Dental Hygienist, Senior Team Leader

Jolene is originally from Glenburn and grew up in Kenduskeag. She went to UMA for her dental hygiene degree, where she graduated with her associates degree in 2003. Jolene started with us in 2005, she is also the Senior Team Leader. She now resides in Dexter with her husband, Chris and daughter, Callie. As a family, they love to go camping in the Summer.

Amanda graduated in 2003 from the Dental Assisting Program from UMA in Bangor. In 2006, Amanda completed an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from UMA in Bangor. Finally, in 2015 she received a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene Science from UMA in Bangor. Amanda is a dedicated and dynamic Dental Hygienist with extensive experience in providing expert dental hygiene treatment and education. Amanda exhibits accelerated patient skills, which focuses on oral hygiene treatment and preventative management. Amanda’s enthusiasm and dedication to oral hygiene keeps patients striving for optimal oral health through educated home care and routine cleanings. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, all while enjoying the great state of Maine

Registered Dental Hygienist

Lily graduated from the UMA Bangor dental hygiene program in May of 2019. She is still new to Steinke and Caruso dental care but is absolutely loving it so far! Most of her childhood, She grew up in the small town of Millinocket. From this, she gained a love for being outdoors. If she is not at work you will find her kayaking, fishing, exploring or just reading a good book on the porch. Recently she moved to the greater Dover-Foxcroft area and has found her newest passion; horseback riding. She absolutely love dogs so for all of you dog lovers, she would love to hear all your stories when you come in for your next hygiene appointment!

Laurie is from and has lived in Carmel her whole life. She lives there with her husband Chris and her boxer mix pup, Millie. Laurie has one daughter, Madison. Laurie started her dental career in 1995 and graduated assisting school in 1997. She then went on to dental hygiene school where she got her A.S in 2003. Laurie also got her EFDA in 2011. She then decided she hadn't had enough school and went on to get her B.S. in 2015. Laurie is a familiar face at UMA where she taught as well while working in private practices as an assistant and or hygienist.

In her spare time she enjoys gardening, antiquing, kakaying and the MIAMI DOLPHINS. She also loves spending time with family and friends at her camp in the northern Maine woods.

Laurie's passion for dentistry and her desire to make patient visits enjoyable is evident. She joined us full time in 2024 and we are SO lucky to have her!

Certified Dental Assistant

Erin graduated from UMA’s Certified Dental Assisting program in 2011. She resides in Corinna with her husband and three children. Her dream job is a beach bum!

Dental Assistant, Hygiene Coordinator

Marissa grew up in Kenduskeag and graduated from Central High School in 2014. You will see Marissa in every part of the office; at the front desk with admin, assisting chairside with the doctors, and even helping out in the hygiene department. She lives in Bradford with her husband Shawn, and their two daughters, Elijah and Parker. They enjoy being outdoors as a family and running their hunting camp in Brownville.

Passionate about animals and an avid horseback rider, Brittany is someone who finds joy in the connection between humans and nature. Whether she is spending time with family (her greatest priority) or out exploring- curiosity, compassion, and community are at the heart of everything she does.

Certified Dental Assistant, Veteran's & Grant Care Coordinator

Trina studied dental assisting at Bryman Institute in Brighton, MA and worked for four years in a busy multi-specialty practice in Massachusetts before relocating to Maine in 2010. Trina joined the practice in 2012, she is one of the smiling faces you will see when you first come to our practice. She lives in Dexter with her husband and four children

Scheduling Coordinator

Valerie grew up in Parkman and graduated from PCHS. She has an associates degree in Business Management from Eastern Maine Community College. Val joined Steinke and Caruso Dental Care in 2018 after being a patient of ours for many years. She has one son and lives in Charleston with her husband Jason. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and working on their vegetable farm.

Financial Coordinator

Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Rebecca attended Akron City Hospital School of Radiologic Technology, graduating in 1991.

In 1995 she moved to Florida where she met her husband of 29 years, Scott, and raised their daughter, Chelsea.

Rebecca has over 30 years of experience in the medical field, working both in Radiologic Technology and Phlebotomy.

She loves animals,especially her dogs Gemma and Nikita. Rebecca and her family moved to Maine in 2022 and fell in love with the state. She is honored to work with such an amazing team and assist every patient the best she can.
