Hygienists/Preventive Team

Together, our hygienists have years of experience. They continually take education courses to allow them to provide the latest and best periodontal care for you. We at Dr. Steinke and Dr. Caruso's office have conducted two studies showing that our patients have highly significant increase in gum health than the average dental practice. We combine meticulous care to detail in cleaning the root surfaces of the teeth with industry-leading techniques for comfortable, efficient home care.

Marijo - Dental Assistant Marijo is a certified dental assistant who graduated from UMA in 2001. She grew up in Eastbrook and graduated from Sumner Memorial High School in 1986. She now lives in Franklin where she enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends. She is very proud to be a part of Dr.Caruso and Dr. Steinke's team.

Suzie - Treatment Coordinator Suzie has been a registered dental assistant since 1993. She and her family live in Columbia. Suzie's role in the office is assisting patients in scheduling appointments and helping them with their treatment needs. She is happy to help our patients with their financial arrangements as well. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ericka Ericka joins our team after spending 3 years working at the Jackson Lab in Bar Harbor. She currently resides here in Sorrento with her husband Chris and her two children Cailyn and Braydon. Ericka likes to spend time with family and friends and really wants to make your time at Sorrento Dental Associates an enjoyable experience.

Samantha - Dental Hygienist Samantha is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine Augusta Dental Hygiene program. She lives in Ellsworth with her son Caleb and was recently married this past June. In her free time Samantha enjoys the out doors and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know all her patients here at Sorrento Dental Associates
